The long awaited update

Here it is, Feb. 14th, and I have not posted for the whole month! I don't have a whole lot of excuses except my house was filled with these:                             And my laundry closet looks like this:

Oh, and my living room...

You might ask why my house looks like this. Well, Last Thursday (like a week and a half ago) I discovered that our washer hookup was leaking. And, as I did more investigating, I found that it had ruined most of the flooring in our house. So, we have been living in a concrete floored house with 10 loud, big fans to navigate around. Oh, yea, and a washer and dryer in our living room. The good news is the floor is almost dry. The bad news is the flooring we ordered might not be in for 2 more weeks!



Since the last post, Cara turned 11 months old (and in 2 weeks will be a year). Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get a picture of an 11 month old with a sign in front of her. Stay tuned for an entire post of the outtakes

This weekend we met some friends from work at Discovery Place kids. Ethan, Terre, and my dad joined us. We really had a great time, and anyone with kids in the Charlotte area should check it out! Here are a few pictures from there:
